Do you have a favorite quote you use at the beginning of a speech?
Q:  Do you have a favorite quote you use at the beginning of a speech?

A:  I do.  I speak a lot about lawyers’ careers and individual job choices. My favorite quote is from Ralph Waldo Emerson:  Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

But, in that it was just Mother’s Day, here perhaps is the truest quote of all: Sooner or later we all quote our mothers.

And, in that spirit, to quote my best friend’s mother who passed away last year but was a true inspiration:  Enjoy every minute of your life.
