Q: I’m starting law school this fall. Is there anything I can do to prepare?
A: I still remember how long it took to read cases when I started law school. Two things you can do: go to a local law library a few times and read cases, with Black’s law dictionary by your side, just to familiarize yourself with the structure and some of the language of legal decisions.
Second, relax and sleep as much as you can for the rest of the summer. Law school is tiring in the early months, so you’ll want to go in as rested as possible.
Congratulations! I enjoyed law school, once I got the hang of it. I hope you will too.
