Q: Why am I hearing so much about meditation lately?
A: It seems law student and lawyer impairment has reached that classic tipping point where more and more quality solutions are in order. Wellness is being paid more attention in schools and workplaces of all types, what with the unrelenting pace of life today. So it’s a healthy and positive development that meditation and other forms of relaxation and balance are becoming more mainstream for law students and lawyers.
And, as someone who started meditating in my 2L year, in 1973, I say good…and it’s (about) time.
